The Department of Space Sciences and Technologies aims to emphasize knowledge production and applications through education, teaching, and research that ultimately advances space exploration, distinct from engineering applications that utilize current scientific knowledge. This goes beyond basic space applications and focuses on advancing scientific knowledge for space research.

 

MISSION

Our goal is to transfer fundamental knowledge and skills in the fields of Space Sciences, Remote Sensing, and Space Technologies at the undergraduate level, train experts who can utilize this knowledge and skills through a Master's program, and ultimately contribute to our country by producing academicians and personnel at the international level who are capable of problem-solving, generating new ideas, and implementing them through a Doctorate program.
